Learning outcomes |
Inspired by the sometimes unconventional approaches and the rapid successes of start-up companies, established companies are now also trying to create or at least promote a culture of innovation in order to maintain or expand the Competitive Advantage Period, which is melting ever faster in the VUCA environment. Students (especially of the Entrepreneurship and Innovation concentration) acquire basic competences to contribute to such a culture of innovation. Students know which organisational structures and processes are best suited to implement "breakthrough" ideas in existing companies. They outline how large companies launch completely new initiatives and which critical factors influence the innovation process. Students understand the innovation development processes in companies. They know the specific challenges that the development of innovative projects entails and are able to explain them. Students are able to provide a set of proposals for innovation development in a specific field of activity. They are able to formulate advice in this subject area for companies in different phases of growth. They are also able to analyse and evaluate the environment that influences new innovation projects. The students know about the importance of the required mindset and can use the relevant tools in a goal-oriented manner to drive innovation-promoting cultures in companies. They can develop and effectively communicate ideas, concepts and analyses related to corporate entrepreneurship & innovation. |
