The content of the course starts on the 2nd day of the introductory workshop and introduces the upcoming seminar. The seminar deals with the most important communication models and forms of communication processes in order to be able to work constructively and result-oriented in teams. One focus is on reflecting on personal experiences in order to be able to build up successful action competence. The students can name the most important rules for communication processes and illustrate individual rules. Through self-reflection, they are able to outline the most important forms, functions/tasks and their effects of communication in relation to teams. Students learn to understand the importance of the connection between perception, communication and cooperation and are able to explain the different phases of communication. They are enabled to design their own goals in order to achieve them effectively and recognise that the factors of space and time play an important role. The students can give an overview of communication models and forms. They learn the importance of recipient-oriented communication and recognise that an exchange of different perceptions and giving and receiving targeted feedback is an important instrument in communication. At the end of the seminar, the students are able to analyse situations they have experienced, both orally and in writing, using the literature and theoretical models discussed. In doing so, they realise how important trust is for successful cooperation and that effectiveness always depends on the respective context. Based on these analyses, the students can collect and design alternative options for action. |
