Learning outcomes

At the end of the International Business Studies programme, the breadth of the acquired knowledge and skills should be applied, deepened and linked in concrete case studies.

With the analysis of a company subject to public disclosure, the students learn how to obtain company information relevant for analysis. They know the structure of an annual report of an international group and the essential key figures for the financial assessment of a financial statement. Students know the relevance of a detailed strategic analysis for the assessment of a company.

Students prepare a financial analysis and a strategic analysis on the basis of externally available information. They examine and evaluate other components of external reporting such as environmental, HR or CSR reports. The students are able to make an overall investment recommendation.
