Learning outcomes |
At the end of the International Business Studies programme, the breadth of the acquired knowledge and skills should be applied, deepened and linked in concrete case studies. By working on the case study of a real existing company in a turnaround situation, the students apply their bundled knowledge in competence-oriented small groups (each focus area of the degree programme should be represented at least once in the team) and develop a restructuring or turnaround plan with the dimensions of strategy / marketing / business model development, procurement and service provision, reorganisation and personnel development, financing / earnings / liquidity planning as well as the possibilities, limits and risks of digitalisation. The students can classify business management problems in the context of the learning outcomes of the Bachelor's degree programme and recognise the relevance of the study contents learned. They apply the subject and methodological knowledge acquired in the degree programme in general and in their chosen specialisation in particular to structure the problem and to show alternatives for processing it in a team. They are able to develop proposals for solutions to the given problems from practice, point out ambiguities in the given problems and develop ideas to clarify them. Students design a solution proposal for the given problem, describe the solution path, the prerequisites, the opportunities and risks in terms of content and develop a simple project plan to estimate the implementation requirements in terms of time and the financial framework conditions. |
