Course content |
• Personality and cross-cultural performance. • Understanding technological, polito-legal and social differences that affect business practices in different cultures. • Understanding cultural differences in communication. • How culture affects perceptions of and practice of leadership skills. • Adapting to radically different cultural etho. • Issues of globalization in the context of ethical differences in cultures. |
Learning outcomes |
This course aims to help students: • Develop self-awareness of own strengths and ability required for success in cross cultural management. • Learn appreciation for the complexity in cross-cultural and cross-national management. • Develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills. • Learn application of concepts, and the problem-solving skills to real life problems for international management. • Understand the political, socio-cultural, economic, and other differences across different countries that affect business practices and management. |
