Course content

Models of health and stress development, role of human images in the development of health, risk and protective factors of physical and mental health in the professional context, behavioural and relationship-oriented prevention and intervention methods at individual and team level, such as Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), acceptance and commitment strategies, resilient interaction and leadership strategies.

Learning outcomes

The students are familiar with scientific, salutogenetic stress concepts and can implement and practise these in their own competence in the training modules. In addition, the students know about possible risk and protective factors that can influence their own health and that of their employees. In particular, the students know about the different stressors, their individual perception and evaluation. Based on this, the students are able to apply both behavioural and relationship-oriented prevention and intervention measures themselves and to implement them with others.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods

Face-to-face teaching and independent knowledge acquisition in training modules in theory and practice, as well as through space for practising and exercising, for discussion, interaction and reflection.

Activities: Impulse lectures, independent development of individual contents, practice and application, reflection in the plenum and in individual discussions.

Assessment methods and criteria

Active participation in the discourse, interactions and reflections.
Own implementation of a prevention or intervention method together with the group in a team of two (one hour).
