Course content

On the basis of selected practical examples, it will be analyzed which tasks have been dealt with with which solution models, what has proved successful in the respective solution models and where the practitioners would have chosen different ways afterwards.

The selected examples correspond to the tasks that the students work on.

Learning outcomes

The students know various best-practice examples for an effective design solution in complex areas that correspond to the objectives and are able to assess these.

The students can

  •  determine and evaluate corresponding solutions on the basis of an existing task.
  •  use the knowledge of their field obtained through best practice analyses.

  • Presentation of selected practical examples by institutions and companies
  • Research projects of the students on concrete tasks from the presented examples
  • Discussions and summary of the learned in short notes
