Course content

Drawing, sketching, scribbling

We will cover the basics of drawing and sketching with various techniques (eg pencil, graphite, charcoal, chalk, ink, ink, watercolor ...) and materials (eg drawing paper, tracing paper, watercolor paper, gray cardboard, cardboard, Canvas ...) so no signing skills are required.

Short introductions and exercises give you the necessary input to find a graphic / experimental approach to your study topic.

  • Drawing of the human body and different body positions, possibilities of the graphic representation of movement and movements
  • perspective drawing
  • Drawing nature studies
  • Displaying variants, sequences or sequences (storyboard, series, picture story, comic ...)
Learning outcomes

The students master the basic manual skills of this field. The students know how to operate the relevant software, tools and devices. They know the relevant design options and design examples. The students can assess the complexity of different design processes.
