Course content

Texts for designers

Do I need that at all? I can write since elementary school. Do I still have to learn something as a designer? Yes, we say. Because just as you learn how to handle forms, colors or fonts professionally, in the text workshop you learn to "play" with words professionally. Methods of creative writing and reflective writing are also presented and tested.

Workshop 01: "How do I write good texts?"
Writing is a creative process. Writing is also a craft. It does not matter if it is a three-movement or a reportage. This workshop is an introduction to the "Writing for Designers".

Workshop 02 and 03 "Creative Writing"
Fear of the "empty page"? How can I get my ideas finally on paper? We can all write creatively. In this workshop you will learn different techniques that will "wake up" and encourage your writing skills.

Workshop 04: "Reflective Writing"
Writing promotes different insights. In this workshop, youll learn about reflective writing and how to use learning journals or portfolios successfully.

Workshop 05: "How do I generate attention with text"
To bring messages to the woman / man. That is one of the key points of the design. The text often plays a central role. How do I use words to draw attention to my message? And how can I make people really read my lyrics?

Workshop 06: "Lyrics for Listening"
Not all texts are intended for reading. How do I write texts that are for the ear? In this workshop we will deal with listening texts.
