Course content

The targeted consumption of (audio) visually processed content on mobile devices has increased significantly in recent years. Digital media formats such as pod- or videocasts are booming. Therefore the targeted use of these new possibilities for communication and information get's more and more important. Both in journalism and in corporate communications, for example in the form of branded podcasts.
How content is prepared professionally for these digital media formats and knowledge can be skilfully conveyed, we deal with in this workshop.
Together, we create a series of science journalistic papers that deal with design-related topics. As part of this, students acquire both journalistic work techniques and the technical knowledge and skills relevant to the professional production of digital media content.
In addition to content and technical knowledge and skills, students also get experience in terms of production processes and editorial management.

Content overview:

  •      How do I find a topic that picks up potential listeners emotionally and / or informatively?
  •      How is the research process structured?
  •      How do you prepare for an interview?
  •      Which techniques are used in the interview guide?
  •      What should be considered when formulating texts for listening?
  •      How is a manuscript created?
