Course content |
The course starts with a portrait of Andre Geim, nobel prize physicist of the year 2010 and a paragon of a critical thinker. His person serves to discuss the characteristics of critical thinkers, which are then worked on in a written assignment. |
Learning outcomes |
Students will be equipped with a variety of techniques to think creatively and critically for both the academic and working world. They will be able to see the weaknesses and strengths of arguments and learn to apply these skills in their own work. As a result, they will also be able to find logical and coherent solutions to problems and develop sound arguments. |

TWO short written assignments based on seminar content (one character description and one argument) and submitted during the semester by the deadline as set at the beginning of the course. ONE written test. |
